About N.E.P.E.
New England Plant Expo was an idea that started in the fall of 2023 by our owner Kat Feist. Inspired by her past experience as an event coordinator for a local zoo’s non profit fundraising division, she combined her love of planning and plants into her dream job. With the help of a few local plant enthusiasts from “Wild Fiber Flora”, the first event took off on June 2nd, 2024 at Diamond Hill Vineyards in Cumberland, Rhode Island. What was supposed to be a small market took off so hard that we joke it broke the town!
Since then, we continue to grow and now host a full tour all around the New England area.

As a busy mom of 3 (yes, 3 in this economy!), I struggle to find affordable activities for my family to attend. Because of this, one of the most important aspects of my business is that our events remain free and or low cost to attend. That’s why we typically choose breweries and vineyards to host our events verses halls that would have hefty fees. It gives me the satisfaction to have created an event that you can take the whole family to and it won’t break the bank.
It also means more goes back to the communities! The local breweries and vineyards profit from a busy day that will bring in new (hopefully repeating) customers and more money is spent with vending businesses versus the ticket sales. With a team of over 100 vendors, we are truly one big family working to support one another.
So! Whether you’re looking for something to do with your friends, a day date with your beau, or to get out of the house with the family - come hang out with us! We ‘ve got plants for every budget, decor, pots, ceramics, are, great food and even better drinks!
